Impact of Brexit on return migration to the Slovak Republic

Brexit is one of the most important events of the present time, which affects several areas of social life in the United Kingdom, as well as in the countries of the European Union and around the world. Obviously, this event is of interest to the academic and professional public. This study focuses on the impact of Brexit on migrant worker flows in the UK and examines the impact of Brexit on the return migration of Slovak citizens working in the UK. The findings of the first studies on this issue have already indicated an expected increase in the trend of migrant workers returning back to their home countries, which should be reflected in their migration balances (especially return migration) as well as in the transfer of migrant workers to other EU Member States.
